
Ana María Arce
Sr Manager, Sustainability Compliance and Stakeholder Engagement
Ana is a professional communicator and sustainability expert with 19 years of experience in global markets. She has been with Bridgestone for more than thirteen years and started her journey with Bridgestone in Costa Rica, where she was in charge of communications and sustainability for Central America and the Caribbean.
Currently, she serves as Sr Manager, Sustainability, supporting the Sustainable Business organization in North America to develop strategies and solutions to meet the customers’ expectations, including best practices, risk identification, and business opportunities. Her role includes close collaboration with the teams in Asia Pacific, Japan, and Europe.
She serves as co-chair of the communications and KPIs working group for the Tire Industry Project (TIP) under the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) since 2016. Since 2021 she also serves as the chair of the Shared Responsibility Working Group under the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber.
Ana earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from the University of Costa Rica and an MBA with a major in Marketing from the Latin-American University of Science and Technology also in Costa Rica.
