Leah Rubin Shen is a managing director at Advanced Energy United, the only industry association in the U.S. that represents the full range of advanced energy technologies and services, both grid-scale and distributed. At United, she leads legislative, political, and regulatory engagement in the Western region of the United States, including United’s advocacy for a Western RTO. Prior to joining Advanced Energy United, Leah worked for U.S. Senator Chris Coons as his advisor on energy and environmental policy. Leah began her career as a chemist and spent her early career researching the electrochemical properties of new materials for proton-exchange membrane fuel cells.
