Dr. Gabriela Sosa is a restoration ecologist and the founder of American Ecosystem Management, a Houston-based consulting firm specializing in habitat restoration, native plant revegetation, and sustainable land planning. She holds a Ph.D. in Ecosystem Science and Management and has led ecological restoration projects across North and Latin America, and South East Asia.

Her work focuses on restoring lands impacted by mining and oil and gas operations—helping organizations rebuild healthy ecosystems while meeting regulatory and conservation goals. Known for turning complex science into practical solutions, Dr. Sosa collaborates with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to improve land stewardship and support long-term environmental performance.
