Juan Carlos Pereira Moreno is the Executive Director of the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce, with headquarters in Miami, Florida, where he leads efforts to strengthen economic, business, and institutional ties between Spain and the United States.

He previously built a significant part of his career in the energy sector at GPtech—now part of Hitachi Energy—where he was involved in advanced power electronics and grid integration solutions. During this time, he worked on technologies and projects related to renewable energy integration, grid stability, and the increasing complexity of modern power systems, gaining valuable international experience in the evolving energy landscape.
