Kaitlyn “Kate” Hill is a Manager of Public Policy at Amazon, where she leads engagement with the Administration and Congress on small business policy issues. In her role, she focuses on empowering and supporting independent sellers in Amazon’s store, most of which are small and medium-sized businesses. Prior to joining Amazon, Kate worked in the office of U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, where she advised the Senator on issues including telecommunications, economic development, transportation and infrastructure, and labor. Before her time in the Senate, Kate worked at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where she provided research and analysis to shape clients’ government relations strategies. Kate earned a B.A. in Political Science from American University in Washington, DC.
