Amy Hereford serves as the President and CEO of LiftFund, one of the nation’s leading nonprofit community development funders, providing over a billion dollars in affordable capital to support small business communities. Prior to becoming President and CEO, Amy served as LiftFund’s General Counsel and Chief External Affairs Officer, overseeing all legal and government affairs matters.
Before joining LiftFund, Amy practiced complex business litigation with global firms in California and Texas, representing Fortune 100 and 500 companies and serving as an influential figure in Texas and California business communities. Amy graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and served as a visiting scholar at King’s College London. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law and was recognized with the Outstanding Public Service Award.
