Daniel Suárez is a trailblazing NASCAR Cup Series driver and the first Mexican-born competitor to win a NASCAR national series race. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Suárez began his racing career in go-karts before moving to the United States, with no money, connections, or any knowledge of the English language. He quickly made a name for himself in NASCAR's developmental series. He captured the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship, becoming the first foreign-born driver to earn a national series championship in NASCAR. In 2022 he became the first Mexican to win a NASCAR Cup series race at Sonoma Raceway. 

 

Known for his resilience, determination, and ability to connect with fans on and off the track, Suárez has become a role model for aspiring athletes worldwide. 

 

He drives the No. 99 car in the NASCAR Cup Series and has partnered with top brands including Coca-Cola, Freeway Insurance, Telcel, and Chevrolet. A recipient of the Roberto Clemente Award for Sports Excellence from UnidosUS, Suárez speaks passionately about perseverance, diversity in sports, and achieving success against the odds.
