Gonzalo is the Founder & CEO of Emerging Domestic Market Ventures, LLC an ACDBE, Airport Concessions company with Food, Beverage & Retail holdings in Phoenix (PHX), Mesa Gateway (AZA), Salt Lake City (SLC), Denver (DEN) and San Diego (SAN) Airports.

Gonzalo previously served the community for a decade as the CEO of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (AZHCC) & Operator of the MBDA, the Regions leading advocate representing more than 200,000+ Small Business Enterprises. In this capacity Gonzalo worked directly with National and Regional economic development organizations and elected officials on supplier development, access to contracts & capital and workforce development.

Gonzalo has more than 20 years of global management experience in consumer package goods (CPG), retail and restaurants. He began his career in “back of the house” restaurant operations before joining consumer products companies Coca-Cola and The Dial Corporation where he conducted business in more than thirty countries before the age of thirty. As a frequent global traveler, he began studying airport concessions experiences throughout the world.

Gonzalo serves on the Board of Directors for Pinnacle West Capital Corporation (NYSE: PNW), Gainey Business Bank, Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) and Education Forward Arizona. He is member of Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL) and Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

Gonzalo received his MBA from Thunderbird, School of Global Management and earned his undergraduate degree in business from Arizona State University.
