Matt Greene is the Senior Manager of Supplier Engagement in Purchasing Supplier Development at Toyota Motor North America, Inc. (TMNA) in Saline, MI.  He is responsible for engaging with key internal & external stakeholders to advance Toyota’s initiatives in engagement of introducing new Supplier Partners to the company. In developing strategies with his team, he regularly engages in the development & sourcing of small and medium businesses. Matt works to advance supplier engagement through several leadership roles, including: National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) Supplier Diversity Advisory Committee Member, Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council (SRMSDC) Board Director, Women’s Business Enterprise Council South (WBEC South) Board Director, NMSDC Automotive Industry Group (AIG) Vice President, Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) Corporate Development Communications Committee & In Fuse Committees, United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) Procurement Council Advisory Board Member, as well as frequent speaking engagements with various councils and chambers throughout North America. 

 

Matt has been with Toyota over 22 years and brings a wealth of experience in Purchasing and Supplier Engagement.  Prior to his current role, he worked as Manager of TMNA Purchasing Seats & Soft Trim, where he led a team in procurement activities of seats for many of our key North American manufactured vehicles.  Additionally, you may remember he previously worked as Manager of Supplier Engagement (2013-2016). 

 

Involvement in community is very important to Matt.  He actively volunteers at Cherry Street Mission in Toledo, OH.  He also looks forward to once again coach youth sports soon.
