Talisha Bekavac is leveraging over 15 years of corporate and non-profit experience in her role as Executive Vice President for the United States Black Chambers (USBC). In her role, Talisha works with policymakers to promote legislation that expands entrepreneurship, and addresses the unique challenges facing the Black business community. She also leads external engagement with corporations and foundations to encourage inclusive strategies on access to capital, supplier diversity and community investment. In acknowledgement of her thought leadership, she serves as a MOSAIC Fellow for the Progressive Policy Institute where she provides insight to media and policymakers on small business issues. Additionally, she is a Google NEXTGEN Policy Leader, which is an advisory council of influential, technology and economic justice advocates working to solve the challenges of diversity and opportunity in Tech.

Prior to her work at USBC, Talisha worked in the private sector where she led business development and marketing for industry leaders i.e. Cisco, Sprint and Comcast NBC Universal. As a service to her community, Talisha serves on the Board of Directors for Family Equality - a national organization working to advance legal and lived equality for LGBTQ families. Talisha is a cum laude graduate of Florida A&M University where she studied Public Relations and Political Science on academic scholarship.
