Carine M. Feyten serves as chancellor of the Texas Woman's University System, the first system in the nation with a woman-focused mission. Since 2014, she has led the transformation of Texas Woman's into a nationally recognized institution, serving approximately 16,000 students across campuses in Denton, Dallas, and Houston. Under her leadership, the university has received national recognition for diversity, student success, and institutional transformation, including the 2023 ACE/Fidelity Investments Award for Institutional Transformation and the Seal of Excelencia. She has championed major academic and infrastructure investments, including the Doswell School of Aeronautical Sciences, a $460 million capital improvement portfolio, and the successful completion of a $125 million fundraising campaign, two years ahead of schedule.

A native of Belgium and fluent in five languages, Feyten holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Education with a focus on second language acquisition and instructional technology. Known for her holistic and mission-driven approach to leadership, she emphasizes a culture of care, champions core values of opportunity and excellence, extends the university system's impact through initiatives that support women's leadership, research that matters, community wellbeing, and student success. She serves on numerous national and regional boards and was recently honored with the Maura Women Helping Women Award from the Texas Women's Foundation and the Dallas Historical Society's Award for Excellence in Education.
