Speaker Bio

Ruth Villalonga is the founder and CEO of Villa Communications, the strategic communications and corporate affairs advisory that builds trust, protects reputation, and drives business growth with the multicultural audiences shaping America's economic future — Build. Protect. Grow. Your Brand. In Culture.

With more than 20 years leading corporate affairs, reputation management, crisis communications, and executive positioning for Fortune 500 brands, C-suite leaders, and senior government officials, Ruth built Villa around Culturenomics™ — her proprietary operating system for turning cultural intelligence into stronger reputation and measurable growth.

Hispanic, Black, and Asian American consumers represent a combined $7 trillion in buying power — roughly 40% of the U.S. population and 70% of U.S. workforce growth. Villa exists to give brands the communications infrastructure to lead in that reality, with cultural market intelligence embedded at the strategy level: how brands manage reputation, engage stakeholders, respond to crises, and move the communities driving America's economic growth.

Ruth began her career as press secretary for the City of New York under Mayor Bloomberg, before leading corporate communications as VP at Wells Fargo and holding senior communications roles at Anthem BlueCross BlueShield and Molina Healthcare. She went on to serve as VP at Hill+Knowlton Strategies and, most recently, as SVP of Corporate Affairs and Polycultural Advisory at Burson, before founding Villa. She has also served as a senior advisor to the George W. Bush Presidential Institute. Her client portfolio includes Wells Fargo, Hilltop Securities, Ford, Colgate, P&G, Bank of America, and FIFA, as well as regional and mid-market brands building earned trust in America's fastest-growing markets.

Ruth is Venezuelan American and leads Villa with a national presence and an active U.S.–LATAM–Spain reach. She is a recipient of the 2024 Distinguished Communications of Color Award and the Dallas Cowboys, Telemundo/NBC5, and UPS 2025 Hispanic Business of the Year Award.
