Luana Lopes Lara is a founder and COO at Kalshi, the largest prediction market in the US. The exchange trades over $100B a year, and offers contracts on politics, sports, economics, crypto, among many others. Before founding Kalshi, Luana worked at Citadel Securities and Bridgewater Associates. Luana studied Computer Science and Mathematics at MIT. She was a professional ballerina with the Bolshoi Ballet School before starting at MIT.
