Paola Beltrán Madrid is Senior Director for Mexico and Latin America at Woodpack Global, formerly National Wooden Pallet and Container Association (NWPCA), where she leads strategy and stakeholder engagement to advance sustainable trade, innovation in wood packaging, and regional collaboration across the Americas.

Previously, she was Program Manager for Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada at the U.S. Forest Service Office of International Programs and Trade (IPT), overseeing regional initiatives focused on natural resource governance, disaster risk management, and climate resilience. She also served as Project Coordinator at the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) within the Organization of American States (OAS), supporting Port Authorities in areas such as competitiveness, logistics, and sustainable port management.

Paola holds a Master’s in International Development Studies from The George Washington University, where she specialized in social enterprise and private sector cooperation. She earned her B.A. in International Studies from American University, with a minor in Economics and a regional focus on Latin America and the Caribbean.
