Sofia Hernandez is a bilingual financial advisor, Market Director, Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), and former entrepreneur dedicated to helping Hispanic business owners build wealth, increase business value, and create lasting legacies.
Originally from Ecuador, Sofia immigrated to the United States in 2008 and leveraged her background in business administration, entrepreneurship, and strategic business development to build a nationally recognized financial planning practice serving clients across 15 states. Her unique perspective as an immigrant, business owner, and advisor allows her to connect deeply with entrepreneurs navigating growth, leadership, and succession challenges.
As a CEPA®, Sofia specializes in helping business owners prepare their companies for long-term success, whether they plan to grow, transfer, sell, or transition their businesses in the future. She works alongside CPAs, attorneys, and business professionals to help entrepreneurs strengthen enterprise value, improve operational readiness, align personal and business goals, and create strategic exit and legacy plans that maximize impact for future generations.
In her role as a Market Director with Thrivent, Sofia also recruits, develops, and mentors financial professionals, expanding access to purpose-driven financial guidance within underserved communities.
