Elmer Saavedra is a Business Banking Senior Relationship Manager supporting clients across the DFW area. He focuses on building strong, long-term banking relationships with midsize businesses. Elmer and his team work closely with clients to help them navigate their banking needs, whether they are planning for growth, managing day-to-day operations, or looking for the right financial solutions.

Elmer began his career with Bank of America in 2008 as a Personal Banker and soon moved into the leadership program, where he became a Financial Center Manager. Over the years, he has built a reputation for being personable, approachable, and effective at working with a wide range of clients and partners. In 2015, he moved into a commercial client advisory role, serving as a Vice President before advancing to his current position as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking. Throughout his tenure with Bank of America, he has built extensive experience in credit, risk management, and relationship banking, while completing several advanced credit certification programs, most recently in 2025.

Outside of work, Elmer is actively involved in his local community, including efforts to help feed the homeless and serving as a leader within his church group. He attended Southwestern University, where his passion for serving others continued to grow. Elmer also enjoys volunteering at his daughters’ high school and supporting band-related activities when needed. He is an active member of the Business Council at Bank of America and serves on the board of CFO Leadership.

Elmer lives in Lavon, Texas, a small suburb outside of Dallas, with his wife, Mayra, and their two daughters.
