Mrs. Hastings is a highly accomplished supply chain and supplier engagement professional with more than three decades of experience at Oncor. She began her career with the company in 1988 and has held positions in Customer Service, Procurement, Materials Management, and Corporate Contracts, building extensive experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and business operations.
In 2000, Mrs. Hastings joined Oncor's Supplier Diversity organization as a Supplier Diversity Coordinator and was promoted to Supplier Diversity Manager in 2008. Throughout her tenure, she has been instrumental in advancing the company's commitment to creating opportunities for underrepresented businesses and strengthening its supplier ecosystem.
Today, Mrs. Hastings leads Oncor's Supplier Engagement & Development Program, an evolution of the company's successful Supplier Diversity initiative. Under her leadership, the program has expanded beyond its original focus on diverse suppliers to include increased engagement with small businesses and veteran-owned businesses. The program also emphasizes supplier development, capacity building, and strategic partnerships that help businesses become more competitive, scalable, and prepared to support Oncor's operational needs. This broader approach reflects Oncor's commitment to fostering a resilient, innovative, and inclusive supply chain while contributing to economic growth within the communities it serves.
With strong support from executive leadership, Mrs. Hastings has guided the continued growth and success of Oncor's supplier engagement efforts. Since the launch of the Supplier Diversity Program in 2007, Oncor has spent more than $5 billion with diverse suppliers. In 2025, the company achieved a significant milestone with more than $675.1 million in direct spend with small and diverse suppliers in a single year which supported 11,130 jobs in the economy - demonstrating the ongoing impact of the program and the meaningful opportunities created for small and diverse business enterprises.
Under Mrs. Hasting’s leadership, Oncor has earned widespread recognition for its commitment to supplier engagement and inclusive sourcing practices. Most recently, in 2026, Oncor was recognized with the Edison Electric Institute Supplier Engagement Innovation Award highlighting Oncor's leadership in innovative supplier engagement practices. In 2025, Oncor was honored as Corporation of the Year by both the DFW Minority Supplier Development Council and the Women's Business Council – Southwest, recognizing the company's outstanding leadership and commitment to advancing supplier diversity and economic inclusion.
Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Mrs. Hastings is an active leader within the supplier diversity and business communities. She currently serves as Secretary of the Women's Business Council – Southwest Board of Directors and chairs multiple committees, including the Women of Culture Committee and the Certification Appeals Committee. She previously served as Chair of the DFW Business Council Supplier Diversity Professionals Working Group and continues to support the organization through ongoing committee service.
Mrs. Hastings has also contributed her expertise to numerous industry and community organizations, including the Edison Electric Institute Supplier Engagement Committee, the Association of Electric Companies of Texas, the Women's Enterprise Magazine Advisory Board, and the VisitDallas Engagement, Opportunity & Impact Committee. Her prior leadership roles include serving on the Board of Trustees for the Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Educational Scholarship Committee, and as Past President of the Northwood University Alumni Association.
Through her leadership, vision, and dedication to supplier engagement, development, and capacity building, Mrs. Hastings continues to advance opportunities for small businesses, historically underutilized businesses and veteran-owned businesses while helping Oncor strengthen its supply chain and achieve its business objectives.
