Maruchy Cantu serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, one of the world’s busiest commercial airports. She provides vision, strategy, direction and execution of DFW’s general administrative policies and programs. Her areas of responsibility include Human Resources, Business Development, Communications and Marketing, Government Relations, Community Engagement, and Risk Management.

 

With executive experience across multiple industries, including retail, aerospace, transportation, manufacturing and distribution, and consumer goods, Ms. Cantu leads communications and marketing initiatives and human resources programs. She also manages the Board process and relationship with owner cities and oversees the Board’s enterprise risk management process, policies and execution.

 

Prior to joining DFW in 2021, Ms. Cantu served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Reece/Morsco and held executive and leadership human resources roles at Frito-Lay, Grainger, Northrop Grumman, and UPS. In these roles, she led HR strategy, talent and change management initiatives – guiding organizational transformation while supporting large-scale workforce operations and strengthening employee engagement across complex, global organizations.

 

Ms. Cantu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in human resources management from the University of North Texas, graduating with honors, and a Master of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University. She currently serves on the boards of Communities in Schools of North Texas, Visit Fort Worth and North Texas LEAD, as well as on the advisory board for The People Center at the University of North Texas College of Business.
