Hensey Fenton serves as Deputy General Counsel, Privacy & Digital Governance at Comcast Corporation, where he leads the company’s enterprise-wide privacy and AI governance programs. In this role, he oversees strategy and compliance for global privacy, data protection, and emerging technology initiatives—helping ensure responsible innovation and ethical use of data and artificial intelligence across Comcast’s businesses (NBCUniversal, Xfinity, Sky Media, etc.). Hensey partners with senior executives, engineers, and product teams to operationalize privacy and AI governance at scale, embedding risk-based frameworks and regulatory compliance into the design and deployment of digital products and services. He also advises on evolving domestic and international privacy laws, AI regulatory developments, and data-driven technologies, including machine learning, connected devices, and biometrics.

Prior to joining Comcast, Hensey practiced at Covington & Burling LLP, where he advised Fortune 500 and multinational clients on privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging technology regulations, and helped design global privacy compliance programs tailored to complex legal and business environments.

Earlier in his career, Hensey clerked for the Honorable Johnnie B. Rawlinson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and served as a Diplomatic Fellow with the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Representation in Washington, D.C.

He holds a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from The George Washington University.
