Courtney Howard Hodapp is Head of Community Engagement for Corporate Responsibility at JPMorgan Chase. Grounded in the belief that the strength of our business is linked to the vitality of our communities, JPMorgan Chase strives to advance a more durable and safe financial system and an economy that works for all. Courtney manages the team responsible for building and maintaining authentic and enduring relationships with key stakeholders across the United States to safeguard and enhance the firm’s ability to understand, address and respond to clients, customers and communities. Courtney has held several leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase, including Head of National Public Engagement and Program Officer for Global Philanthropy in Ohio and Minnesota. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, she served as Philanthropy & Community Affairs Manager for Battelle, the world’s largest nonprofit research and development organization. She is a member of a number of nonprofit boards focused on economic mobility and financial services, including Prosperity Now and FinRegLab. Courtney received a B.A. in History from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and an M.S. in Journalism from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Communication. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and three sons.
