The 2024 USHCC Energy Summit brought together industry leaders and policymakers to shape the future of energy. It began with a Welcome Reception at the New Mexico Governor’s Mansion, hosted by Toyota and Chevron, fostering connections and setting a collaborative tone.
The Summit opened with Chevron’s Maru Suarez Williams highlighting energy security, followed by a fireside chat on the Toyota-Chevron alliance with Tom Stricker of Toyota North America and Claudia Graham of Chevron. Later, Avangrid CEO Pedro Azagra delivered a keynote, and fireside chats featured Shell USA President Gretchen Watkins on the energy transition, moderated by Alma Del Toro, and JPMorgan Chase’s Ben Ratner on emissions, moderated by Allison Kajs Weinberg.
The day concluded with roundtables on the Justice40 Initiative and partnerships and the graduation of USHCC Avanzando Suppliers with Blue Wave, celebrating Hispanic-owned businesses leading in energy. The summit inspired a powerful vision for an inclusive, resilient energy future.
