Small Business Person of the Year Award

The USHCC Small Businessperson of the Year Award recognizes small business entrepreneurs for their outstanding leadership, pioneering spirit, and social and economic contributions.
Must be a USHCC Member in good standing* and demonstrate the following:

Outstanding leadership in his or her industry, including recognition or awards

Entrepreneurial success
-
Community involvement and impact, including mentorship

Significant economic contributions to the Hispanic business community
2026 Chamber of the Year Award

This award spotlights three chambers that epitomize leadership, commitment to the small business community, and outstanding accomplishments.

Small Category (fewer than 249 members)

Medium Category (between 250–499 members)

Large Category (500+ members)
Must be a USHCC member in good standing* and demonstrate the following:

Leadership in the small business community

Consistent membership growth since joining the USHCC

Significant community accomplishments in the past year

Financial stability and growth
2026 Corporation of the Year Award

The USHCC awards the Corporation of the Year honor to a company that has championed enterprises, demonstrating support for small businesses in procurement and supplier diversity.
Must be a USHCC member in good standing* and demonstrate the following:

Advocate for workforce diversity, including leadership positions

Significant financial investments in the small business community
-
Provides initiatives to empower the small business community
2026 Employee Resource Group (ERG) Award

The top three finalists will present their ERGs in front of attendees during a breakout session at the National Conference. They will also participate in a panel discussion alongside their fellow finalists and engage directly with the audience.
The winner will be announced during the Gala on the evening of September 16.
Participants in the USHCC ERG Challenge must be active corporate partner members in good standing with the USHCC.

Criteria for Employee Resource Group (ERG) Award
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Strong leadership that has driven growth and engagement in the diverse small business or supplier community;
- Measurable impact on the advancement and retention of underrepresented professionals within the company;
- Professional development programming that aligns with company values and business objectives;
- Dedicated company budget or resource allocation in support of ERG-led initiatives.
